Preserve Their Heroic Legacy:
Sponsor a Memorial Banner for the Motorcycle Precession
In the spirit of patriotism and remembrance, we invite you to be a part of our exclusive Memorial Banner Fundraiser. Only 25 coveted memorial banners are available, each holding the power to honor and immortalize the memory of a loved one who served our nation. By sponsoring a banner for $150, you will ensure their heroic legacy shines brightly during the motorcycle procession of the
11th Annual Southern Pines Veterans Parade.
Picture the scene: as the motorcycles lead the parade, these banners will proudly bear the name and photograph of your cherished veteran, serving as a poignant reminder of their selfless sacrifice. The sight of these banners fluttering in the breeze is a testament to the enduring patriotism and deep gratitude we hold for those who have bravely served.
Your generous sponsorship not only memorializes your loved one but also supports the parade and its mission to uplift and empower veterans in our community. Following the parade, we will present the banners to the families, offering a lasting memento of their loved one's contribution to our nation's freedom.
Embrace this opportunity to pay tribute and preserve the memory of your beloved veteran. Let their name and service be forever etched in the hearts of those who witness their banner during the parade. Join us in this patriotic endeavor and donate today to secure a Memorial Banner that will serve as a symbol of honor, gratitude, and undying love for our fallen heroes.

Offering a variety of volunteer opportunities is one way to ensure that employees or community members find at least one thing in which they’d feel comfortable participating. Has your organization thought about incorporating virtual activities for your remote staff or supporters?
When you think about volunteers, the typical image of a team or community group planting a garden, revitalizing a local park, or painting a lively mural at a school comes to mind. Yet all around the globe, at any given time, thousands (if not millions) of engaged citizens volunteer virtually — using their computers, the Internet, even their smartphones.
Virtual volunteers can complete short-term or long-term tasks, in whole or in part, typically off-site from the organization or person being assisted. If you’ve got access to a computer, thousands of different volunteer projects and roles are available to you — from your home, the library, a coffee shop, anywhere with an Internet connection.
Below is a robust resource list categorized by activity, impact area, or beneficiaries. Please note, not all opportunities listed below are affiliated with nonprofit organizations. Some will be great for individuals and others more conducive to corporate groups. Keep in mind, there may be fees associated with opportunities for corporate groups. Descriptions are summarized from the corresponding organization’s website and do not necessarily reflect an endorsement from SPVP. Sign up for volunteer opportunities.
